Almost entirely the hierarchy of scale, one element has to read instantly from a distance, usually a single image or a few words, with any finer detail reserved for someone who steps closer.
It’s fine, printing starts at a single copy, so a one off event or a single installation doesn’t require committing to a batch you don’t need.
It depends entirely on where it’s displayed. We usually start from the space, a frame, a wall, a window, and size the poster to fit it exactly, rather than fitting the space to a standard size.
Both, we can create the concept entirely, or refine and prepare a design you already have for print.
